How to get a peaceful bedroom
Your bedroom should be a refuge, a personal hideaway from the hectic pace of the world. It should actually reflect your sense of style and taste. Here are a few ideas to bear in mind when redecorating your bedroom.
Keep your bedroom simple
A bedroom should look and feel comfy, cozy and uncluttered irrespective of what your taste is. That means keeping your furniture to the fundamentals of only what you want. And if you have a smaller room, don’t try and put a king sized be in there. You will be squeezing around things and that’ll get tiring fast. So keep the size of your space in mind as you get your bedroom furnishings. Try and keep it to a straightforward plan like your bed, a reading chair, a couple of nice tables, your dressers, a couple floor lamps and that is’s about it. Try basically disposing of the TV. I know..it’s impossible for a small number of you but listen, when I first tried that with the cell telephone and PC I was able to get a little sleep. You actually should try it.
Use calming colors if feasible.
Instead of crazy and bold first colors, choose more soothing shades and neutral tones unless you really have your heart set on making a statement. Hey it’s your bedroom and if you can get to sleep with purple walls then who am I to argue with you..? If you’d like to stay in the same color range but want to try and tone it down alittle bit, then why don’t you try something like lavender instead. You get it.
Try some sumptutous bedding
If you can afford it at all, do yourself a huge favor and invest in 300 or more thread count 100% sateen bed linens info and a well made feather and down comforter You can snooze like you are in a resort in London, Berlin or Paris I am enlightening you. You will not be sorry about it. Watch for sales online and make the leap. You’ll love your new bedding no doubt.
Use different textures
You could also try adding another engaging features through your bedroom like silky or textured wall coverings. What about a trendy area rug..? Perhaps a linen table cloth..?
Have heaps of Storage space
You could try one of those actually cool distressed wooden trunks to hide all of your extra blankets, pillows and bedding and other stuff out of site. Remember to have a good organization system in place in the closet so your garments and shoes are neat also.
Draperies
An organized approach to your windows will help you not only create a calming, quiet and dark place to sleep but will also even help add another element of loveliness also. Do not just stick anything up there, but play with color and texture here also, just as in the remainder of your room. Keep in mind that more substantial draperies will help block out not only daylight but noise as well .
