Industrial music has often been more archaic, yet that is beginning to change. There is this sick recovery rock I stumbled across by Matt Soren the other day that has a different perspective on electro-rock. His CD is a mix of industrial rock and the story of beating addiction.

There are some song previews on his URL at www.returnfrombroken.com. It appears like the mixes are temporary while finishing official recordings. They sound high quality to me but that’s just me. It is cool to find more electro-rock like this written specifically for addiction help in a more aggressive way from a person that has already been through it and is making an impact for others in addiction. It’s nice to have this type of synth-rock coming from the industrial genre which is usually darker in nature. Nice!

In addition, he has free downloads you can get from his website and more in his members area which is no charge. I also saw discount passes, album art, and other things it looks like he’ll be adding.
